Jay Goscinski: West Virginia Is A Problem

Jay Goscinki, Michigan Realty Solutions, is having serious problems on the performance end — no sexual pun intended. As everyone is well aware of, Goscinski is the Altar Boy of Altisource; Cheap Suit Jay is a man whom can do absolutely no wrong in their eyes. As we begin to dig deep we are hearing troubling things questioning the very validity of his Membership in the National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS). Everyone is aware of the fact that Cheap Suit Jay was represented in the NAMFS Newsletter to have received a Letter of Recommendation for Membership to NAMFS which Altisource denied submitting. While normally a he said she said situation, the reality is that if Cheap Suit Jay DID NOT have that Letter of Recommendation, his admission into the NAMFS is illegal. Two Letters of Reference/Recommendation are required for Membership as per the NAMFS Website AND “One must be from a current NAMFS member in good standing.” More on point, though, this strikes at the very core of the NAMFS Membership Process. If memory serves me correctly, when Cheap Suit Jay received Membership, the NAMFS Membership Committee Chairman was Chuck Sockol. Perhaps a discussion with Sockol is in order to get to the bottom of the mess.

Altisource — #OpALTISORE — fought tooth and nail to avoid a stand off with respect to Cheap Suit Jay. Knowing that Cheap Suit Jay had a previous bankruptcy was apparently not an issue to bringing him on board or no Due Diligence was performed. I mean, after all, sending tens of thousands of work orders to Altisource Vendors whom had bankruptcies hasn’t even phased them. Even the fact that Cheap Suit Jay had previous issues paying people hasn’t bothered Altisource including yesterday’s revelations of liens to be filed.

Where Altisource had best pull their collective heads out of their asses is the fact that Jay Goscinski is listed as a Contractor for Ocwen Financial Corporation by Zoom Info. To precisely understand how Foreclosurepedia Google SEO works, click that link and read how highly rated Foreclosurepedia is considered with respect to what our opinion is on folks. ALL OF CHEAP SUIT JAY’S Web References originate from Foreclosurepedia. Altisource, as well, is now linked. Foreclosurepedia submits NOTHING to Zoom Info! Zoom Info along with about 200+ other Business Outlets places the veracity of our opinions even above the Wall Street Journal — at least in the Mortgage Field Services Industry. I am deeply troubled by the fact that Ocwen Financial Corporation seems to have no problems with this type of association; however, in light of the Due Diligence or lack thereof, I am sure that the Talking Bill Heads — Bill Erbey and Bill Shepro — have it all under control.

This is a response that Michigan Realty Solutions — Cheap Suit Jay’s Company and the Anointed Altar Boy of Altisource — emailed to a Contractor whom had an ad on Craigslist,

Hello,

We have around a thousand properties in WV that need grass cuts, shrub trims, and exterior debris removal by the end of the weekend. If you would be interested in completing some of these in your area please respond.

Thank you,

Jacob

National Fraud Alert (NFA) has a fairly good public list going on with respect to the pieces of shit in the Industry. Our Endorsement of NFA revolves around the fact that Matt Close has undertaken a monumental task which is generally thankless. Our Endorsement does not opine as to the veracity of the data thereof as we have no direct affiliation to NFA. The difference between NFA and the ISTAR Classified Repository or Property Baggage is that NFA is, by in large, publicly accessible. ISTAR is an intelligence repository wherein Management and Labor both pay for specific intelligence data sets and Property Baggage is a Visual Mapping System which allows the General Public to be advised of Properties which are Bank Owned and have Potential Contractor Liens. ISTAR data sets will never have public interaction; however, Property Baggage listings are removable should Notarized Statements be issued by Contractors releasing their Claims and an archival fee is paid.

So, if Cheap Suit Jay needs a thousand cuts, lock changes, shrub jobs and debris removal work orders completed in the next 72 hours, one really, REALLY has to wonder whom is steering the ship over at Altisource. The reality is that Foreclosurepedia even offered our services to Altisource in an attempt to get a grasp of the true magnitude of horrors they own. They appeared to be content with the status quo. It is novel, really. Business as usual.

Altisource spun off of Ocwen in 2009. While Altisource maintained the quasi good portfolio and Ocwen held the shit or low return bag. Trading in at around $80 a share, Altisource has a current P/E Ratio around 16. By 2016 they are looking at around 0.09. What has not entered into the equation is the nightmare that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has exerted upon them. Their Share Pricing and Dividends would be in the fucking tank if the investors knew precisely what was brewing. More on point, though, when Rob Stiles left, I believe he knew far more than he was telling the Pundits. A simple perusal of his Securities and Exchange (SEC) 10.1 telegraphs that all was not kosher. Granted, he had the foresight to set the Shop up in Luxembourg, the reality is that even the proclivities Altisource resolves itself to participate in — Berghorst, Buczek, Goscinski, et al. — do not fly in Europe and most assuredly not in the United States.

The Bill Erbey Sideshow — Ocwen Financial’s Chief Executive Officer and apparently employer of Cheap Suit Jay — doesn’t stop with Altisource. While Altisource’s Associate General Counsel calls it, “Controlling the supply chain,” I believe that what we are seeing is a systematic Sherman Act Train Wreck. Erbey will eventually piss off Benjamin Lawsky to the point of no return. Combine this with Altisource’s refusal to engage in legitimate business with Contractors, I foresee turbulent waters ahead.

Now, this Article was not the Nuclear Article which I was going to Publish. I am still awaiting a reply from the man at Altisource whom stepped WAY THE FUCK out of bounds in his diatribe which ended with what I interpret to be veiled threats. His last three words were almost identical to those from the Buczek Clan. This Article is an opinion based National Alert to all Contractors working for Jay Goscinski that they should evacuate from a potentially toxic situation. It is a further opinion that the NAMFS should perform some Due Diligence with respect to whether or not Jay Goscinski is or is not a bona fide Member of NAMFS. In the spirit of detente, I leave it there — for now.

Before You Go ...

Foreclosurepedia exists because readers, workers, and advocates understand that protecting Labor in the mortgage field services industry requires independence, persistence, and resources. We do not answer to servicers, hedge funds, or corporate trade groups; our accountability is to the Field Service Technicians, Inspectors and administrative personnel whose livelihoods are too often treated as expendable. Donations are what allow us to investigate quietly buried contract changes, expose abusive labor practices, and publish work that would otherwise never see the light of day. Every contribution helps keep our reporting free from industry pressure and focused squarely on defending labor standards, fair pay, and basic dignity in the foreclosure ecosystem. If you believe this work matters, your support is not symbolic—it is the reason Foreclosurepedia can continue to stand between Labor and a system that routinely exploits it.
