When Lender Processing Services (LPS) sold out to Fidelity National Financial for $2.9 Billion and became Black Knight Financial Services (BKFS) which then, in turn, created ServiceLink, there was very little thought given to retaining talent and Labor. In fact, ServiceLink canned their entire Lima, OH, operations center, and consolidated them at the Pittsburgh International Business Park. ServiceLink has always been known for their uncanny ability to screw over Minority Females and Labor both before, when LPS and involved in the illegal robo signing scandals, as well as today in that if you are late on an Inspection you do not get paid a penny. Moreover, though, ServiceLink’s demands that independent contractors obtain background checks through Aspen Grove Solutions which flies contrary to the rulings under both the Hurst v Buczek Enterprises and Bowerman v Field Asset Services litigation in federal courts.

Now, I am neither a lawyer, nor giving legal advice; however, it strikes me as a violation of the Sherman Act and an Anti Trust Violation for a for profit, publicly listed firm to demand the use of a specific product, by trade name, and that the same product’s purchase benefits a financial relationship between one of the two parties doing business. Unjust enrichment comes to mind as well. These, though, are the least of anyone’s worries.
For anyone to be required to purchase a specific amount of anything is madness. In this case, though, we are talking about nearly $1,000 worth of materials which they cannot even have delivered to their home is the epitome of insanity — let’s not bullshit around, even most of the Order Mills do not have a business address!
Where I am going to laugh my ass off is when the chargebacks begin to come in. And make no mistake whatsoever, this will be one of the biggest cash cow grabs in the history of the Mortgage Field Services Industry. Curious whom is pushing it the hardest? M&M Mortgage. Later this afternoon we are live on the Foreclosurepedia Radio Network talking about George Mencia and the new demands for two year’s worth of your financial records in order to work for they. M&M Mortgage whom cannot even keep their own servers up to par are going to protect your banking records.
Folks, it is a Circus now. And where is the National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) Government Relations Committee? Asleep at the wheel. With Committee Members now stepping down out of disgust for how Eric Miller and his cronies are acting, the fact of the matter is NAMFS is on its way out. If you are looking for a change, you may want to go and take a look at the International Association of Field Service Technicians (IAFST). Our interview with their Chairman runs next week and to tell you the truth, I was pleasantly surprised.
