John Ward: Co Founder of NAMFS Has Passed

The National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) announced today that John Ward, one of the Co Founders of NAMFS passed away.  Ward has always been and will, even in passing, continue to be a positive force and influential individual within what is commonly referred to as the Mortgage Field Services.

Beginning his career in the Industry in 1968, Ward formed Ward and Associates.  Ward and Associates came to be the oldest and the second largest Property Preservation Firms in the Nation with a monthly inspection tally of over 110,000 per month at its zenith.  First American acquired Ward and Associates in December of 1996.

In 1988, Ward along with several other associates formed the NAMFS.  Serving as both President and Vice President, Ward was additionally a NAMFS Board Member.  Returning in 2001, Ward served as the NAMFS Executive Director for the next five years.  The Property Preservation Industry will fondly remember and sorely miss John Ward.  We keep his family in our thoughts and prayers.
