The hour is late and I suppose many within the National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) Regime believe that they have landed a victory in Florida. The Dynamic Duo of Joe Hummel and Bret Douglas have donned the cape of Captain Save-a-Hoe and are mounting a full court press to help Contractors whom cannot help themselves. I always loved that: Liberals in sheep’s clothing telling people what they need and how to get there. Normally, it would be humorous; funny in the sense that NAMFS Regime Members whom profit upon the loss of Contractors would ever want Contractors to Organize. In the instant case, though, there is nothing funny about this.
The reason that Movements fail is primarily that its Leadership is both suspect and corrupt. The #EpicFail of #TeamRegime NAMFS has only been corruption — until now. You see, the NAMFS Regime has allowed illegal narcotics to possibly creep in. Even the Mafia realized that the buying, selling or consumption of illegal narcotics was bad for business. Apparently, the NAMFS Regime has no problems with it.
There is a stigmatization attached to people whom are charged with crimes. It is a stigmatization which precludes participation in Public Life. More importantly, people whom are associated with Associations whom are known for their atrocities committed against innocent men and women should probably think twice about attempting to enter Public Life. Bret Douglas is one of those people. While not convicted, it has been quite some time since I have seen this many charges disappearing without bilateral convictions. When the NAMFS Regime began their #Hack-O-Thon of Background Checks, perhaps they should have started with their own people. It would appear, though, the world is out to get Bret Douglas as we received this last week,
He is a known drug addict, crack to be specific, you may look up some of his past on mugshots.com under hillsborough county. He has had 2 past employees on ankle monitors that were in murder charges in seminole county, most of his employees either have prison records or explicit drug abuse. He is currently or was as of yesterday [01MAY14] on his latest crack benge in crest view fl. He does these disappearing acts randomly whenever the mood strikes him, hookers prostitutes you name it he does it. Every cleaning job they do is faked for the photos, I currently have several of his properties that you would be appalled by, everything we have picked up behind him to Clean up have ended up being full sales cleans not refreshes. He has no care for other vendors, he will violate every contact he signs as soon as he finds out where work is coming from he up and steals the client that’s just the tip if the iceberg, I probably can find you at least 10 more people that would confirm this.
Everyone has an ax to grind; I normally could give two shits about Douglas. What really set me into motion was a culmination of things. I was approached around the same time by an intimate of Eric Miller out of Wyoming and requested to do some SAM Account and DUNS Work. Normally, this is not novel as many NAMFS people come to me for Intelligence and Consulting. The conversations, though, were beyond the pale of what I normally facilitate for free. They were also ADAMANT about both remaining off the grid and running my Contract by Attorneys. This was at the same time Douglas had fallen off the radar and begun another of his vanishing acts.
I do not believe in coincidence in life. Joe Hummel supporting Terry Platt at NAMFS; Bret Douglas opening multiple offices in areas he has no work; Contractors being Summoned to offices with video cameras all over — hmnn, common theme is Eric Miller. What Miller should perhaps begin to question, though, is whether or not a whole new stack of charges might appear and his Pet Informant might need to turn State’s Evidence. With Florida being the Epicenter of the Foreclosure World, I am sure that the AG would sweep some minor cocaine offenses under the rug if dots could be connected. Hell, being a Member of an Inner Circle and being seated on Committees could be a boon for the right law enforcement agencies.
What people do on their own time isn’t really much of my concern. Douglas eloquently opined that the NAMFS Regime’s belief in Background Checks are bullshit anyway in Huffington Post. Where the rubber meets the road, though, is when you have a person whom is confused with respect to where their loyalties lie. Also begins to bring in the question of why Joe Hummel wanted a Florida Connection so bad, as well. Boy, that I-95 Corridor sure could be profitable, huh?! I mean I am just thinking out loud here, but someone has to! If Douglas is unable to control his proclivities, is this the type of person that Contractors really want at the helm? More on point, can the NAMFS Regime afford to have illegal narcotics implicated with respect to their Committees? The charges were dropped, but the reality is that the last thing that Financial Institutions or Portfolio Holders want is to be represented by people whom have the propensity to be inclined to indulge. Hell, they run from the legitimate marijuana money in Colorado, what do you think they will do with respect to the Blow coming in from Florida?!
The disappearing acts have been ramping up more frequently after Foreclosurepedia turned the heat on. For the owner of a business with almost 30 vehicles and the same amount of employees, the ability to disappear and simply say, “Wanted to let everyone know that i am not working this week and will be off line. … Please communicate with my office [,]” is novel, at best. I mean you really, REALLY have to wonder what is going on. Isn’t Florida underway in mowing season? Man, I sure wish I could run a company which could go on cruise control for weeks on end.
The implications read like Miami Vice — man, I miss that show! 😉 I mean Douglas is scheduled to drop TWELVE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS long on the NAMFS Regime Sponsorship this year. Is it a proper question to ask where that money is originating in light of this information? I believe so. I mean folks daily ask hard questions of me, so what is wrong with asking whether or not an individual is involved in narcotics? I mean Florida Law Enforcement certainly did not decide to randomly select Douglas to pin some charges on or they would have been sued. Other Contractors — yes, more than simply the one I quoted — didn’t simply cook up (no pun intended) their comments either.
If Douglas was simply a business owner and not attempting to take on the Mantle of Leadership within the Community of Contractors, much of this would probably be moot. The reality is that when one enters into the world of politics, their lives become an open book.
In closing, whether or not other Contractors want to ask hard questions I am. I mean I am a Boots on the Ground (BOTG) Contractor. If someone is going to assume the roll of representing me in front of the World, I have every right to ask uncomfortable questions. Perhaps Douglas has some candid answers — I haven’t found them yet, though. At the end of the day, I would venture the guess that #TeamRegime will take the Contractors down another dark road and stymie their growth another 6 months.
