Weekend Briefing

We have a couple of fairly heavy stories on the plate for this weekend.  Incidentally, we are going to make the Weekend Briefing part of our Line Up.

First, we are going to get out Part One on Milan Thompson’s, ASONS.   We went one-on-one with Milan over the past week and a half and are presenting the results.

The recent US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Management and Marketing (M&M) 3.5, which concentrates on the Asset Management (AM) or Broker end, is under severe fire.  Sources close to the chaos state there are multiple Protests being lodged.  We take a closer look at the sizes of the Companies Awarded Contracts by HUD and question why HUD waited until December for the Bids and yet didn’t count an entire year’s worth of income against the Companies.

Finally, we are beginning our Series on the Erosion of the Nationals while the National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) stands by planning its next big Conference.  Paranoia, as we have recently seen, is simply a by product of the current Culture which resembles something out of the Godfather.  With the HUD standing by passively Contractors have little conclusion other than the US Government, by and through HUD, are at minimum turning a blind eye and may even be allowing such on its Watch.
