Robert Kapeluch, famous for overseeing the nearly one million dollars of fraud which Altisource allowed to occur unchecked, recently respun up Tower Preservation LLC (TP) out of his proverbial closet — not sure if Brittany McDonald is in there as well. What we do know is that, to date, TP — I like that acronym as it is like Toilet Paper — Tower Preservation LLC has refused to obtain a local business license in Tampa.
TP does have a business license on file with the Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s office. I suppose if TP never operates within Tampa or anywhere else, it is well and good. Otherwise, it strikes me as an unfair economic advantage over the rest of the playing field.
The reality is that Kapeluch and his sodden lot are up to the same old bullshit except under a different name. And the reality is that I would bet that Altisource hired Kapeluch, et al., just as fast as they got an application over to them — most of my readers remember how it went down with the former and disgraced National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) Regime Secretary Heather Berghorst. After defrauding nearly a million dollars, Berghorst Enterprises switched gears to Heritage Home Solutions and knocked down another couple hundred grand — Fifth Third Bank is still suing her for Willful and Malicious Fraud after she filed her SECOND BANKRUPTCY under the watchful eye of both Altisource and Eric Miller, NAMFS Executive Director.
