I monitor a tremendous amount of data each and every day. I store roughly 3 gigabytes of data each week in a semantic wiki for archival purposes. Big Data takes me down many roads including the monitoring of social networks, financial publications, legal proceedings and a plethora of other sources. Information. It is what allows people to make decisions; it allows us to peek behind the Curtain and make educated guesses. Sometimes, information is presented to those whom do not understand it in hopes of inspiring them and other times it is known as disinformation. At all times, though, information is relevant to those whom understand its distribution.
According to the Quants at IBM, “Every day, we create 2.5 quintillion bytes of data — so much that 90% of the data in the world today has been created in the last two years alone. This data comes from everywhere: sensors used to gather climate information, posts to social media sites, digital pictures and videos, purchase transaction records, and cell phone GPS signals to name a few.”
One of the most important facets of information is the ability to track it. The Internet provides a novel way of doing it which I will not bore the reader with. Suffice it to say that for every Post created, 4 generally comment upon and 95 people rebroadcast. Why is this important? When you are able to track information across a web (intra or inter) you are then able to create socio-psychological profiles of both whom consumes information and how they react to such. It allows the ability to map interactions; the ability to track the bits which make up bytes and ultimately whom possesses them. Below is a snapshot of a drill down for the past 30 minutes.
The question then presents: Why is any of this important? Who cares whom is viewing the information and how can you really determine whom linked what? Further, why is it important? Well, the main reason it is important is a bit arcane and requires more of an intelligence background to fathom. In layman’s terms, to ensure that one is putting the correct information into the right hands, one needs to examine precisely whom is viewing it. See below:
Metrics. The ability to semantically measure data and derive meaning. Whom consumes what; how often; and to whom do they deliver it to? Additionally, the arcane such as Operating System (OS) information tells a tremendous amount of information about personality and thus the rest of their tethered world. Socio-Psychological data ladies and gentlemen.
Person A presents as a drill down IP Address which resolves to a plethora of dossier data. Home/work/phone; credit report, criminal record, company(s) owned, medical information, social media (friends, music/video genre, sexual proclivities, drug and alcohol propensities), etc. Oh, don’t act so concerned. Big Brother does it each and every day along with your grocery store with their little card they give you.
Scenario 1: Person A is an employee of a financial institution and is drilling down on the ISTAR Client – Contractor Database and sending the Articles to folks higher up the food chain. Valuable information if you have the Connections (which I do and the 9 of you know whom this Scenario is directed to) and your Investors have no Intelligence Section.
Scenario 2: Person A publicly [insert here supports or attacks] you. Privately, Person A [insert here supports or attacks] you. This type of information allows you to track down the entire network associated with that data for future use.
The long term key to any successful firm is to act not react. The ability to predict that which your opponent will or will not do based upon a given set of stimuli. No Scopolamine here, folks. The reality is that many people do not have the stomach to effect change. The lackeys of the Property Preservation Industry are easy to identify; simply determining whether or not they do their own work and whom they were employed by previously speaks volumes. They will always encourage the blue collared worker to suck it up. They will put down anything that even remotely challenges the status quo. Any Person, Organization or Corporation whom meets in secrecy should immediately send off alarm bells. With respect to Public Corporations, there are laws prohibiting such conduct in most circumstances pertaining to a plethora of settings. The same applies to certain Organizations, such as Non Profit, as well. Only People are exempted and then only to the extent that is allowable by law. That is the beauty of a civil society.
Foreclosurepedia provides information that no other source currently does. It would be incredible if other Contractors would step to the plate and create their own websites. To date, none have. I two National Contracts, a US Marshals Contract and rehab for two Investors and still find time to write what I do. I liaise with half a dozen Mainstream Media Outlets on any given week. At the end of the day, I do what I do because I care about Contractors in the field. I WORK IN THE FIELD AND NOT BEHIND A FUCKING DESK ORDER MILLING OUT WORK to the very Contractors my detractors purport to want to help.
The biggest problem with this Industry is not simply the Order Mills; the competing problem is that the average Contractor has no one helping them. The true heroes are the men and women out in the field each and every day cutting the grass and cleaning up the broken dreams left behind by others whom lost everything because of the very same banks the Contractors work for. Whom speaks for these heroes? There is not a SINGLE ASSOCIATION, GROUP OR ORGANIZATION out there whom publicly says a SINGLE SOLITARY WORD on their behalf publicly! That is the cold, hard facts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. At least I have the balls to speak my mind in public; I put everything on the line each and every day I sit behind this keyboard. So, the next time you hear someone running their head protecting an Order Mill ask them what they are doing for the Contractor; ask them where their website is and how many views it has had and finally ask yourself whether or not secrecy is the best policy.
