Heather Berghorst: 2002 Bankruptcy Should Have Warned The Industry

Disgraced former National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) Regime Secretary Heather Berghorst seems to rely upon bankruptcy to pay the bills. In court records obtained by Foreclsurepedia, we are able to verify that Heather Berghorst filed for bankruptcy in 2002. We have published those creditors below whom were taken to the cleaners in Berghorst, Round One. The Honorable Jeffrey R. Hughes (Retired) whom is currently appointed over her current bankruptcy — while strangely having retired in September, 2013, and not capable of hearing the bankruptcy — presided over her 2002 bankruptcy. Gotta love Berghorst’s ambulance chaser, A. Todd Almassian.

Date terminated: 01/03/2003

This is probably the clearest validation of why the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is needed within the Mortgage Field Services Industry. First, Contractors have absolutely no idea whom they are dealing with anymore. The public withholding of Heather Berghorst as a decent and law abiding citizen by and through her promotion to ONE OF THE HIGHEST OFFICES within the National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) makes clear that the National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) Regime, itself, needs a Special Master appointed by CFPB and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). A thorough, top-to-bottom assessment is soup du juor going forward.

Berghorst’s largest Client, Altisource, should have picked up on this. Ironically, Altisource has had a stonewall approach to dealing with Contractors and yet when National, Regional and Otherwise Unspecified Order Mills whom are fellow Members of the National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) Regime have no capital and bankruptcies they move mountains to keep them on the payroll causing suffering and misery to the very Contractors doing the work.

The reality is that John Ward, the now deceased NAMFS Regime originator, had to of known about both Berghorst’s seedy past and additionally the sordid militia orientation of the Buczeks. While I am loathe to speak of those not present to rebut, the reality is that the very foundations of the National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) are now suspect. Whom knew what and when did they know it. I mean how in the hell did a woman with such shallow character like Heather Berghorst ever even get on the Board of the National Association of Mortgage Field Services? Look, the Industry is screaming how anything and everything is the Contractor’s fault — thus the Background Checks everyone was already running had to all be shifted over to Aspen Grove Solutions. The problem, I contend, is that NOT A SINGLE ORDER MILL is being investigated. I mean this is a calculated assault.¬† Berghorst’s position on the Board of the National Association of Mortgage Field Services allowed for her to quite possibly pressure and force work. I am not saying I know that for a fact, but I would hate to think that Firms like Safeguard Properties, Five Brothers, Altisource, Mortgage Contracting Services, et al., were all so fucking incompetent that a simple PACER Check failed to turn this up. As opposed to a Contractor whom does work in a singular nature, Berghorst was doing tens of thousands of work orders. Let’s not bullshit around, either. The information that Berghorst has possessed during the entirety of her existence within the Mortgage Field Services Industry should be considered compromised. The record reflects that every ten years or so Berghorst files bankruptcy to avoid paying anyone a dime. This is the SECOND TIME she has filed for protection on her home with its additional lines of equity drawn against it.

Foreclosurepedia is embarking upon a landmark investigation into EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MORTGAGE FIELD SERVICES. We are going to rely upon the PACER System to track all bankruptcies and make all public. We will additionally use similar techniques which Aspen Grove Solutions uses to run Open Source Intelligence Background Checks on all National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) Members and release those, as well. We will house all of this on the Foreclosurepedia ISTAR Intelligence Repository and grant unprecedented public access to everything. The reason for this is because it is now apparent that the National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) Regime has absolutely no intention of protecting the public from those within its Regime whom appear to be hell bent on destroying honest, hard working men and women.

Ironically, disgraced Heather and Doug Berghorst certainly found money to pay A. Todd Almassian. When the Berghorst’s set out to liquidate everything not nailed down and jump on the state welfare gravy train; the Berghorst’s are collecting a combined total of ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS EVERY MONTH in unemployment, they found TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS to quietly give to ambulance chaser A. Todd Almassian. To date, Eric Miller continues to keep Heather Berghorst on the Membership Rolls of the National Association of Mortgage Field Services and ensures she continues to receive all of the privileges and perks, to boot.

BR 2016 Disclosure of Compensation for A. Todd Almassian, Debtor’s Attorney, Fees: $2625; Awarded on 6/23/2014 (Attachments: # 1 Fee Agreement) Filed by Debtors Douglas Berghorst, Heather Berghorst (Almassian, A.) (Entered: 06/23/2014)

Federal racketeering comes to mind when I think of the National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS). No two ways around it. Eric Miller has both a legal and ethical responsibility to obey the By Laws of the National Association of Mortgage Field Services and its Canons in conducting an Ethics Inquiry. Now, I am only able to identify two reasons he is loathe to do such. One is money and the other is a romantic relationship. Are there other reasons? Maybe. Feel free to reach out and share your ideas. If you are a Contractor whom was defrauded by Heather Berghorst, Foreclosurepedia would like to Interview you. The reality is that you have nothing to loose and as the Courts are now reading Foreclosurepedia, you potentially have EVERYTHING to gain!

Did I forget to mention that Heather and Doug Berghorst are listed as attendees at the NAMFS Regime Fraud Fest 2014? Oh, yeah. Strangely, though, they list their Heritage Home Solutions as their Company.

Editor’s Note: We have received statements from Contractors that Altisource has begun to contact them with respect to the debt Heather Berghorst refuses to pay. There have also been intimations about the potential for hiring Contractors directly whom were involved with this debacle which Altisource is somewhat to blame for. Foreclosurepedia reached out Thursday to confirm this from an Altisource in their Atlanta office. We were told that, “I will have someone call you whom may better speak on this matter.” It should be noted that I levy an EXTREMELY HIGH LEVEL of credibility to this Source.

It strikes me as borderline insanity for Altisource to refuse to acknowledge something good they are attempting to do. Monday, we are hopeful that Altisource will reach out to us and have an honest discussion with respect to the Berghorst and Buczek Affairs. In essence, it would appear that Altisource is stepping up to the plate and that is deserving of reporting upon. In my opinion, they have taken a rap for something which is not entirely their fault. The problem, though, is that if they remain silent I am loathe to present their side of things in my own words.
