As NAMFS Members Circle The Bankruptcy Drain Labor Skittish

Assero's Debt Sheet Made Public As Labor Walks

The rebellion against Aspen Grove and the Jonnie Rumbaugh — York Jersey — Three Ring Circus of insurance providers demanded of the National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) has hit full swing. Coming on the heels of MSI‘s continued refusal to pay price increases on Fannie Mae stating, “We will not increase pricing because Freddie Mac has not done such,” the lies were in full spin when it was revealed that Freddie Mac increased pricing on or after June 27, 2022. That pricing is $20 for exterior inspections and $25 for interior inspections in accordance with Freddie Mac’s Bulletin 2022-12, dated June 8, 2022. It should be noted, though, that these price increases are temporary in nature. What that means to Labor is that: a) Labor will never see a penny; and b) NAMFS never had any intention of doing anything other than padding their member’s wallets during their collapse. #TwoForVerisk NAMFS Executive Director Eric Miller and NAMFS President Matt Zoldowski have both been noticeably missing over the past several months as their membership rolls now clock in around the double digit level. It is a historic attribute which no one would ever want on their resume.

HUD, as well, has been missing as the price of used homes is now the same price as new homes with both pegging in around $416K. HUD Secretary Marcia Fudge, in conjunction with Cathy Baker, have been either unable or unwilling to advance the HUD M&M FSM an inch forward over the past nearly four years. In fact, with the HUD M&M FSM 3.12 Awardees like JGM Property Group moving closer to bankruptcy demonstrated by their massive layoffs and email hacks by unknown entities, they are only second to Eduardo San Roman’s 24 Asset Management and his bankrupt Assero. The photos to the right and below show not only San Roman’s direct involvement with the refusal to pay Labor on Assero’s debt, but also Assero’s debt sheet and how they rank Labor in terms of importance to pay. HUD’s position has been to insulate Secretary Fudge and allow Labor to eat the damages in order to keep the false belief that the HUD M&M FSM is anything other than a sham.

Here is Assero’s, debt sheet and how they look at Labor much like sacrificial lambs,

Amazing is the only word I can come up with. Here, Lee Mertins and HUD Awardee Eduardo San Roman present the case to begin the same rollout that National Field Network did prior to their Involuntary Bankruptcy. And those companies listed, if they are farming out work, need to be financially stressed tested! It is not simply the NAMFS offenders we have to worry about anymore, it is also those pipelines that keep the fraud afloat that is now becoming part of the Foreclosurepedia Volatility Index (FVI).

Going forward, we are going to dig deep on the contracts that are safe and the vast majority that are not. For example, is it wise to work with MSI whom continues to refuse to increase pay even as their pay was increased by both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac all the while demanding enormous tax payments to Aspen Grove and Jonnie Rumbaugh’s Three Ring insurance ring? Ditto for National Field Representatives. Is the HUD M&M FSM contract worth the headaches of the rural setting and zero pay increases all the while wondering how Secretary Marcia Fudge may toss the contract to the two HUD Awardees both staring down bankruptcy?

Foreclosurepedia exists because readers, workers, and advocates understand that protecting Labor in the mortgage field services industry requires independence, persistence, and resources. We do not answer to servicers, hedge funds, or corporate trade groups; our accountability is to the Field Service Technicians, Inspectors and administrative personnel whose livelihoods are too often treated as expendable. Donations are what allow us to investigate quietly buried contract changes, expose abusive labor practices, and publish work that would otherwise never see the light of day. Every contribution helps keep our reporting free from industry pressure and focused squarely on defending labor standards, fair pay, and basic dignity in the foreclosure ecosystem. If you believe this work matters, your support is not symbolic—it is the reason Foreclosurepedia can continue to stand between Labor and a system that routinely exploits it.
