HUD M&M 3.8: Awards Slated Soon DU204SA-13-R-000

The US Department of Housing and Urban Development‘s (HUD) Marketing and Maintenance (M&M) 3.8 is now winding its way towards the end. DU204SA-13-R-000 has been winding its way around HUD for the better part of a year now with no end in site. With such an enormous swath of space up for grabs; with power players whom have already lost their assigned areas, HUD M&M 3.8 it probably the single most important HUD Contract up for grabs this year. The HUD M&M 3.8 is a single award system for Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Field Service Management (FSM) Contract. If you or your Firm have a need for Consulting, feel free to reach out to Foreclosurepedia today.

Sources speaking on condition of anonymity stated that they felt pretty comfortable that Awards would be announced by the beginning of September, 2014. Barring any last minute tinkering from the Procurement Law Division (PLD) or others we will conceivably see a spike in recruitment over the next 60 days for post conveyance contractors to perform services upon HUD assets.

For those not familiar with the areas up for grabs, please refer to the following:

  • Area 1P  Michigan
  • Area 3P  Maine, Vermont, New York, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Connecticut
  • Area 4P  Ohio
  • Area 5P  Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Delaware, District of Columbia and Maryland
  • Area 1D  Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Northern Texas
  • Area 2D  Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri and South Texas
  • Area 4D  Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota
  • Area 5D  Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana and Wyoming

Most assuredly we are going to see pricing drop even lower for Boots on the Ground. Ironic, really, when the approach HUD is allowing for the consideration of a higher pricing matrix. Foreclosurepedia has been the only media outlet to stay on top of the Contract, to date, as this Google Search will show. We have been liaising both Contractors and Clients in the final stretch. We encourage both sectors to reach out to Foreclosurepedia for their Scalability Needs and as usual will break the story when the Awards are issued — perhaps even before HUD itself does!  😉

What A Wicked Web We Weave — M&M 3.5 Recap Which Is Still Under Litigation

Before You Go ...

Foreclosurepedia exists because readers, workers, and advocates understand that protecting Labor in the mortgage field services industry requires independence, persistence, and resources. We do not answer to servicers, hedge funds, or corporate trade groups; our accountability is to the Field Service Technicians, Inspectors and administrative personnel whose livelihoods are too often treated as expendable. Donations are what allow us to investigate quietly buried contract changes, expose abusive labor practices, and publish work that would otherwise never see the light of day. Every contribution helps keep our reporting free from industry pressure and focused squarely on defending labor standards, fair pay, and basic dignity in the foreclosure ecosystem. If you believe this work matters, your support is not symbolic—it is the reason Foreclosurepedia can continue to stand between Labor and a system that routinely exploits it.
