When the Executive Director of the National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS), Eric Miller, attempted to silence Foreclosurepedia some years ago, it was the first showdown between David and Goliath in the multi-billion dollar Mortgage Field Services
Industry. A cease and desist letter was drafted on a Friday by lawyers representing NAMFS and Miller about Foreclosurepedia’s reporting upon large scale fraud by then NAMFS Secretary Heather Berghorst, amongst others. And much like the first showdown between Neo and the Agents in the Matrix, Foreclosurepedia forced NAMFS to blink and the C&D letter was rescinded by that following Monday morning. Berghorst’s lawyer took a swing at Foreclosurepedia and was taken down for the count begging for us to remove our reporting after NAMFS Secretary Heather Berghorst filed her SECOND BANKRUPTCY because he lost his job and family! We declined. Then came NAMFS member Assurant, which became Assurant Field Asset Services, and finally Xome. They, too, hired counsel, after we reported upon an enormous breach of Contractor data and came with threatening C&D letters. And like Miller’s lapdog, they were sent packing except this time they called Foreclosurepedia’s capabilities prolific. And finally came Victor Deutsch, counsel for National Field Network whom, as well, came with a C&D letter. We bankrupted him and forced his retirement, as well. And for the cherry on top; for the proverbial exclamation point, we forced the Involuntary Bankruptcy of National Management and Preservation Services better known as National Field Network. We forced the sale of all of her pretty cars and homes in the Bahamas and we forced her pals like Jack Jaffa and others to crawl through the gutter, plead poverty, and pay money to Labor to prove the point.
Public is the new private. For far too long, these swamp creatures have loomed in and out of our view functioning much like the reptilian menances that they are. Strike that, firms whom prey on Minority Females and Labor are worthless sacks of shit. I mean the image at the left spells out pretty much how I feel. And I will be honest, this battle is shaping up to be Armageddon. And #Epic fights like this reminds me of the Shakespearean quote from The Tempest, Misery acquaints a man with strange bedfellows. What do I mean by this? Well, NAMFS members, from top to bottom, have been reaching out with their tales of woe. And while on the one hand, wisdom has taught me not to trust these swamp creatures, on the other I am bound, much like Neo, to protect the Industry. The only difference in this battle is that I strum the string holding the Sword of Damocles which is perched atop of their collective heads: Artificial Intelligence. This Battle will be one for the Ages. It will bring, full circle, over a decade of methodically produced and stored nodes of data, including all manner of written and recorded statements from friend and foe, and will ultimately pit Housing and Urban Development (HUD) against the very swamp creatures they themselves created by their willful dereliction of duty.
This is really a simple missive to lay out the guardrails lest anyone chooses to go down the dark roads which all led to hundreds of millions of dollars in destroyed firms and involuntary bankruptcies of NAMFS members in the past. Plea bargains aside, as I have no financially vested interest in the matter, the Revolution will not be televised. Several items, though, are not bargaining chips. First, Eric Miller will be removed from office. Second, Jonathan Dietz will be removed from office and not be given the protection that the former NAMFS Secretary Heather Berghorst was afforded. And finally, Labor will have a seat at Management’s table. Period. And for those already are familiar with my prolific ability to report upon the fraud, waste, and abuse in this Industry; if your bruised ego hurts too much and you cannot find a safe space to crawl up in a ball and cry in, you probably should have never came to me to begin with.
