Lockdowns Ramping Up As The Industry Demands In Person Contact

The Mortgage Field Services Industry seems to be the only sector where COVID doesn’t exist. In fact, National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) members continue to demand, daily, that their contractors continue to make physical contact with the unemployed and elderly. The fact of the matter is that on a single day a contractor may make 10 – 20 different contacts, many times crossing state lines. Anyone still addicted to the Trump mentality and believing that COVID is a hoax should tell it to the inmates whom are now stacking bodies five high at the El Paso County Medical Examiner’s Office.

My son’s school just sent this out,

Grainger County Schools will be 100% virtual this coming Friday, and Monday and Tuesday of next week.  We have a large number of students quarantined, but the primary reason is that we can’t run our buses because of a shortage of bus drivers and most of our substitute bus drivers are quarantined.

So, why on earth NAMFS members would go against the in person contact moratorium executed through 31 March 2021 by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is beyond me. My best guess is that they get paid an extra dollar or two. Here is the HUD Memo,

And while I would expect this from NAMFS members, I have lately become very concerned that Labor is refusing to obey the law, as well. This isn’t simply a don’t ask don’t tell situation. With nearly 30,000+ inspectors in the Industry we are talking about spreading a deadly disease like wildfire. And believe it or not, we have a responsibility to the public not only to properly report upon what we see, but also to do our best to protect them. There is no way that violating federal law is in the best interests of the end Clients or the American public as a whole.
