The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued an Alert to all users of Internet Explorer (IE) to immediately stop using it. The original Zero Day Exploit was documented over on FireEye on 26 April 2014. “We are currently unaware of a practical solution to this problem,” Will Dormann at the CERT division of the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, wrote on Monday. Foreclosurepedia began reporting upon Zero Day Exploits almost A YEAR AGO! The continued addiction to proprietary software is the bane of the Western Hemisphere — most of the rest of the world has already embraced Open Source.
I am able to think of TONS of National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) Regime Members whom require Contractors to access via Internet Explorer. I am going to give it a few days to see whether or not the NAMFS Regime publicly advises their Members to create work arounds. If not, I will publicly out each and every NAMFS Regime Member I find in the ISTAR Database using IE as their preferred access and forward that to appropriate authorities as it could potentially compromise ALL FINANCIAL DATA and pose safety and security issues.
Oh, where was the Premiere Trade Association on this? I am not sure. Maybe ask Joe Hummel or Terry Platt. I am sure that they will have a reason why the helm was unmanned or perhaps Terry Platt will get us a Porn Store Comic Book out on it?!
