James Hodgkinson, 66, owner of JTH Inspections and JTH Construction, died in an early morning attack upon Republicans at the GOP congressional baseball practice in Alexandria, VA. Steve Scalise, House majority whip and a Republican from Louisiana, was shot in the hip, Fox News reported, while one of his aides was shot in the chest. Several Capital Police Officers were also injured during the attack. While motivations are still unknown, what is known is that the only targets were Republicans.
The game is an annual tradition that dates back to the early 20th century, with Thursday’s game at Nationals Park slated to be the 80th meeting of the two teams. […] Scalise (R-La.), has been an avid player in the game since getting elected to Congress in 2008.
Hodgkinson is what would appear to be a Never Trumper, as most of his social media reveals. While Foreclosurepedia was able to confirm that Hodgkinson was associated with the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and lists himself as an ASHI Certified Inspector, we are unsure as to whether or not he performed services within the Mortgage Field Services Industry. Neither the National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) nor Aspen Grove Solutions, whom background checks Mortgage Field Services contractors, replied to an inquiry of whether Hodgkinson had an Aspen Grove Background Check completed or had been a NAMFS Member in the past. He is not listed as a current NAMFS member.
Editor’s Note: The National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) replied back, after publication, stating that Hodgkinson was not nor had he been a NAMFS Member,
Thank you for the inquiry and NAMFS does not show any records for this individual/company.
