Bret Douglas, owner and founder of Team Ironclad in DeLand, FL, recently was the MC, Sponsor and Host to Florida FAST II. Florida FAST is a melange of Mortgage Field Services Industry Management and Labor whom descend upon Florida each year for Networking and Industry Discussions. This year’s Florida FAST delivered in the way that has both come to be expected and additionally continues to raise the bar with respect to how Management and Labor entertain a common goal: Delivery of a Perfect On Time, Every Time Product for the Client.
Douglas, whom has been at the forefront of Labor – Management Dialogue, eclipsed all expectations. A stalwart gentleman, Douglas brought in a Standing Room Only crowd this year and additionally was able to demonstrate precisely how a W2 based operation successfully functions. The Team Ironclad facilities were Ground Zero for Florida FAST and this allowed attendees from all corners of the United States to view what may only be described as a hallmark facility.
The breakout of Florida FAST this year was a relatively unknown name: Chol Shin. Shin is the man behind National Asset Protection Agency (NAPA), located in Tampa, FL. Shin took to the floor like a Samurai. In what is considered a rare interaction, Shin gave a great speech which was both engaging and fundamentally meaningful to both Labor and Management.
There were a wide array of folks at this year’s Florida FAST II. ZVN Properties, National Asset Protection Agency, Aim Your Way and Precision Field Services were some of the Members of Management whom were in attendance. Eric Miller, Executive Director of the National Association of Mortgage Field Services also attended.
Kathy Tyner, INspect LLC, had this to say,
A promising event. Good attendance on both management and labor – lots of seasoned PPI vendors and some new, as well as service providers (insurance, staff leasing, virtual office, software…). Very open discussions on the industry, security, pricing and regulation during the forum. Was a very good meet and greet on Friday night, with a large attendance. I think that the attendees each gained something from attending.
The one firm missing from the event was Aspen Grove Solutions. This is disappointing as it continues to reinforce a position from them that while Management is perceived to be exempted from their requirements, Labor is on the hook — not only on the hook for the insane pricing, but for the risk of their personal and financial information being breached.
My hat is off to those within Management whom crossed the aisle to speak with and engage Labor including Eric Miller. While Miller and I have a public running proverbial gun battle, it is no different than the Republicans publicly attacking President Obama and privately playing a round of golf; it is politics, plain and simple.
Below is a gallery of photos taken during the Florida FAST II Event. They are labeled accordingly. Foreclosurepedia is hopeful to have Douglas and several other Florida FAST II participants on this evening’s Foreclosurepedia Podcast.
