A large uptick in US government contracting for lawn maintenance was seen populating up on the System for Award Management (SAM) website for government contracting. This is significant as it would appear federal agencies are attempting to push out as much as they can, pre-election. A cursory glance revealed that nearly 35% of the contracts were small business set asides. From a geographic point-of-view, the contracts span most of the United States.
