As HUD’s Acting Deputy Chief Procurement Officer Craig Karnes continues to insulate his investment of $18 Million+ in HUD M&M FSM awards located here and located here, to Fast Eddie San Roman and 24 Asset Management, everyone thought that the nearly One Million Dollars that their subsidiary Assero — whose website has now been removed — would simply never be paid. Go no further than the HATRED on the face of that white man seated in the middle of the photo. And as it has happened it is par for the course; it is the soup du jur, that not only HUD, but Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have supported for over a decade. In fact, the reward for destroying the lives of Labor from HUD, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac has always been to re-award at a higher level and then fight like hell to bury the matter like we saw in the Involuntary Bankruptcy of National Field Network (NFN). The NFN Involuntary Bankruptcy is now almost the longest ever in the history of the New Jersey Bankruptcy Court with massive paybacks from Fannie Mae, Jack Jaffa of Jaffa and Associates and pending claims against Shari Nott. In fact, I highly recommend that folks force an Involuntary Bankruptcy of Lee Mertins and Fast Eddie. That though is not the end of the story.
Under section 7434 of the Internal Revenue Code, when someone knowingly provided wrong information in the 1099, they can be liable to you for $5,000 or the actual damages plus attorneys’ fees and costs — whichever’s greater.
That statement above is a serious matter as the interest on a case like referenced above, never ends. Why is this even an issue? Well, multiple former Assero contractors — err, misclassified employees — have had the monies which were never paid to them now added to fraudulently submitted 1099s from Assero. Remember, those 1099s are not simply sent to the contractor, but submitted to the IRS. This, in turn, leads to taxes paid by defrauded contractors and massive tax breaks — read unjust enrichment amongst other potentially illegal charges — to Assero and by proxy 24 Asset Management.
The question is whether or not Patriots are going to stand up for themselves and for Labor. Are Patriots going to contact their Congressional Senators and Congressmen and Congresswomen? And are Patriots going to say enough is enough when it comes to the revolving door that HUD sets up for these criminals?
Tax fraud is serious. And when combined with unjust enrichment of monies owed like we saw with the Involuntary Bankruptcy of National Field Network — when HUD’s Deputy Chief of Procurement told ALL of us to move along and nothing to see here — well, Patriots need to stand up and make their collective voices heard through emails and phone calls!
HUD Secretary Marshmallow Fudge does not get it. HUD’s Deputy Chief Procurement Officer Karnes does not get it. These are shallow, Deep State Actors that need to be removed and Foreclosurepedia filed an Official Complaint to make that happen.
They are going to come for me, ladies and gentlemen, for simply standing up for the Rights of Labor. No matter how they stonewall the questions; no matter the fact that they finally issued a response to our Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with oblique references to, “…the trainers must be certified who use HUD forms/publications…”; and no matter what we ALL do, we must stand together. Stand today with your fellow Members of Labor and draw the line in the sand.
