Surety Lending Solutions (SLS), a National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) Member, is hawking their advertisements on Craigslist for Knoxville. A simple Google Search — THIS IS A SEARCH ALL CONTRACTORS SHOULD DO BEFORE EVEN FILLING OUT AN APPLICATION — reveals that neither SLS nor Dustin Fleiner are well liked by many Contractors. With the NAMFS Regime under fire already and reeling from the distinct possibility of many NAMFS Regime Memberships not being renewed, 2014 could be the year.
Before I get to the Complaint against them, I want to point out just how cavalier the NAMFS Regime Members have become. This is from the SLS Craigslist ad: “We are looking to hire about 10 people by next Wednesday.“
You CANNOT HIRE CONTRACTORS!!!!!!! You only hire EMPLOYEES!!!!!!!
It is easiest to let the Contractors state their Claims in their own words,
In all of the years I’ve done preservation work, never have I come across a company that is being run by the worst lying thieves as this company, and the worst part is I don’t see how a company like MCS can allow a company like Surety to represent them. There is a guy named Dustin Fleiner who is one of the management thieves, whose sole purpose is to get as much back charge and steal from the contractor vendors as possible. He will out right lie and say whatever he thinks he needs to say to get someone to work for free so he can charge companies like MCS and keep the charge amount for Surety which ends up in his pocket.
I’ve talked to a half dozen contractors, who have work for this scum guy, who say this company has stolen money from them. There was a time this POS would have gone to jail for what he is doing, and to top it off if you complain about what he is doing or confront him, he will threaten his little hidden clause in the agreement they want you to sign but don’t give you time to read it, where it states he can terminate your contract then hold all moneies due to you for 90 days, while he figures how he can back charge you and ulitimately steal what money you had coming to you.
If there is any justice in this world someone from HUD, MCS, The State Attorney’s Office, or the FEDS need to investigate this company and it’s crooked management, they need to be put out of business, then put in jail.

Yes. They were known then as MySLS. They screwed me out of about $1000 non payment for a roof tar ping job on a VA house in Cleveland Tn. They on your radar?
In typical NAMFS Regime format, a further search revealed that the New Orleans Better Business Bureau had two complaints; 2012 and 2013, for Billing/Collections issues filed against SLS.
