So, we had the opportunity to speak with a provider today. I was actually quite surprised as I was anticipating a sky high quote. I digress. We are having to get Errors and Omissions (E&O) now for the HUD 3.6 Contract. After having no luck with any of our local providers including Tennessee’s Largest Insurance outfit TIS, we finally wrote PK Management and they, in turn suggested York Jersey.
Now, I rarely, if ever, discuss who or whom to go to for things; however, these folks — if you don’t mind nothing but emails and not really talking over the phone — got the General Liability Insurance, Errors an Omissions, Computer Network Security and a few other items all rolled into one policy for $1,200.00USD. Yeah, that’s not a typo; twelve hundred and some change.
I’m going to get into some heavy posting on this as there are pros and cons to taking a recommendation from whom you are working for. You will recall an earlier post wherein we cited an OREP blog article on the seedy underbelly of Property Preservation and Insurance. In the aforementioned, though, we actually ended up saving in upwards of $3,000.00USD a year as E&O was going to run about three grand on top of our General Liability. Additionally, we have a one stop shop.
So, pending PKMG’s acceptance of their Quote, I wanted to thank Albert Martinez, Chief Operating Officer over at PK Management for getting us over to these folks. Once again, Foreclosurepedia is not recommending a product; we are simply presenting how a given situation helped us.
