Within the Property Preservation Industry there is a term known as a Hazard Claim Order (HCO). The HCO is generally an Insurance Hustle, by in large. A Contractor generally knows if s/he has been involved in the HCO Process is if they have EVER been requested to perform a Police Report, Perform a Repair with Documentation or been Awarded a Lump Sum for a Repair.
A C.L.U.E. (Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange) Report provides dates of claims, insurance company(ies) involved, the type of policy, whether loss was related to a named catastrophe (hurricane, etc.), location of the loss (on or off property), the amount paid and cause of the loss.
All I am at liberty to say, for the moment, is that if you have ever been involved in any aspect of the Insurance Repair aspects you may be entitled to a TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF MONEY!
You will need to physically possess the Work Order, the Police Report (if you filed it), the Insurance Repair Order (if you Bid or Performed the Service) and the Name of the Mortgage Field Service Firm you worked for.
