Redfin Leaving NAR: Firms Should Step Away From NAMFS As Well

Redfin Leaves the NAR as NAMFS Board Members Stick It Out

Glad we cleared up the Ed Namfs mystery. I always thought it stood for Erectile Dysfunction, but hey you never see him with a woman so what do I know? The National Association of Mortgage Field Services (NAMFS) is staring down a fate the same as the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Today, Redfin left the NAR and is requiring all of their brokers to do the same. Not only is it high time, the sooner other large money donors leave, the better. You know what they did, though, they resigned their Board seats, as well. Here is how Redfin put it which sounds identical to the victims of the NAMFS Board and their offender members,

We’d already been uncomfortable with the NAR’s positions on commissions when we read reports of sexist behavior and sexual harassment, by the NAR’s president and others, based on interviews with 29 former NAR employees. NAR was aware of the allegations for months and in some cases years, but reacted only when those allegations became public, and only after the CEO said there wasn’t a problem. Many employees described a culture of intimidation and retribution; many are still calling for more accountability.

Sounding familiar? Sounding like what has been said about ZVN Properties Vice President and NAMFS Vice President Denia Ray? How about Nickie Bigenho, NAMFS Treasurer, and Vice President of BOK Financial who keeps the cash flowing for all manner of NAMFS indiscretions. Definitely appears to be in line with Joyce Milaszewski, owner of JGM Property Group, whose company attempted to inject a virus into the IAFST email servers and we hear is having IT problems, yet again! As to Garrecht, Rulo, and Gallo, well who knows with these order mills whom really are more foot soldiers doing the bidding of GIS Field Services simply to stay afloat.

It has to be embarrassing to be the water carriers for all of the NAMFS atrocities and then to take it square on the jaw from one of their own, Jonathan Dedman Dietz. This is how criminal syndicates work, though. You create a monopolistic framework with price fixing and force everyone to go down with the ship by offering a revolving door similar to how the #TwoForVerisk, NAMFS Executive Director Eric Miller and NAMFS President Matt Zoldowski have found golden parachutes a Verisk — along with those Non Disclosure Agreements (NDA).

Here is what Redfin had to say about the criminal activity and sexual harassment ongoing at the NAR,

Redfin had already resigned our national board seat in June, before the alleged sexual harassment came to light.

Resigned their national board seat. That speaks volumes. And the irony here is that while keeping Jonathan Dedman Dietz firmly in place on the NAMFS Board, it will publicly haunt these NAMFS Board members the rest of their lives. You see, there is no better way to determine the values of companies than to look at the support they give to their fellow Board members and what they are saying publicly — which is nothing. In fact, they are standing by as MCS converts their Contractor network into nothing more than a siphoned database. Perhaps NAMFS Board members ought to look at what Kelman and Redfin executives wrote.

Foreclosurepedia exists because readers, workers, and advocates understand that protecting Labor in the mortgage field services industry requires independence, persistence, and resources. We do not answer to servicers, hedge funds, or corporate trade groups; our accountability is to the Field Service Technicians, Inspectors and administrative personnel whose livelihoods are too often treated as expendable. Donations are what allow us to investigate quietly buried contract changes, expose abusive labor practices, and publish work that would otherwise never see the light of day. Every contribution helps keep our reporting free from industry pressure and focused squarely on defending labor standards, fair pay, and basic dignity in the foreclosure ecosystem. If you believe this work matters, your support is not symbolic—it is the reason Foreclosurepedia can continue to stand between Labor and a system that routinely exploits it.
